Laboratory Instruments & Portable pH Meters
Endress+Hauser’s Laboratory Instruments & Portable pH Meters connect lab and process with one ecosystem: Liquiline Mobile/To Go handhelds and Memosens Lab sensors for pH/ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and temperature. Using the same digital Memosens interface as the plant’s online analyzers, grab samples and verification checks are directly comparable to installed measurements. The portfolio spans the compact CML18 and the rugged CYM290/CYM291 handhelds, plus lab‑optimized pH (CPL5xE), conductivity (CLL47E), and oxygen (COL37E) probes, all designed for traceable, GLP‑ready work.
Liquiline Mobile CML18 is a multiparameter handheld that hot‑plugs to any Memosens sensor, so you can switch from pH to DO or conductivity without recalibration. Bluetooth® enables guided operation and documentation via the Memobase Pro app; optional value packages add practicals like >10,000‑reading data logging and inductive charging for true field autonomy. Because CML18 reads the same sensors used at fixed measuring points, loop checks and on‑site troubleshooting are fast and consistent. Typical use spans wastewater aeration control, RO integrity checks, and general utilities QA/QC.
When environments are tough, or classified, the Liquiline To Go series steps in. CYM290 is a robust IP66/67 handheld for plant areas and labs; CYM291 adds ATEX/IECEx (Ex ia IIC T4/T3 Ga) for Zone 0/1 use. Both connect to Memosens pH/ORP, conductivity (including trace ranges), and oxygen sensors, giving 1:1 comparability with process readings. Use CYM290/291 to verify loops, measure at points without online instrumentation, or take documented grab samples without hauling liquid back to the lab, especially valuable in chemical units, tank farms, and utilities where time and access are constrained.
Memosens Lab sensors deliver lab accuracy with field practicality. For pH, CPL51E/CPL53E cover standard samples, CPL57E is tailored for pure and ultrapure water, and CPL59E adds a rugged design for demanding media; all feature integrated temperature sensors and pre‑calibrated, plug‑and‑play operation. CLL47E (4‑electrode contacting) spans 5 µS/cm…200 mS/cm for broad conductivity work, while COL37E uses optical DO with a bubble‑insensitive cap for fast, low‑maintenance oxygen checks. Sensor and calibration data are stored in the sensor head for full traceability and “swap‑and‑go” workflows.
Across the range, Memosens 2.0 ensures moisture‑immune, inductive coupling and digital signal transfer, eliminating contact‑corrosion issues and supporting predictive maintenance. In practice that means reliable readings at the basin, sump, or tank‑top, and clean GLP documentation back in the lab via Memobase Pro (including GPS/photo context and buffer‑QR capture for pH). The result is a unified toolkit for commissioning, loop verification, process optimization, and compliance: one handheld, one cable standard, and one data model, from lab bench to field walkdown.
Where it fits: water & wastewater (aeration control, plant/network verification), food & beverage (CIP/final‑rinse checks, product/water phase splits), life sciences (utility waters), power (RO/condensate spot checks), and general chemicals (grab sampling at process points). Choose CML18 when smartphone‑assisted documentation and mobility are priorities; pick CYM291 for hazardous areas; and match lab sensors to the sample matrix (CPL57E for HPW/UPW, CPL59E for harsh media, CLL47E for wide‑range conductivity, and COL37E for quick DO). The common Memosens platform keeps readings consistent across portable, lab, and installed devices, shortening troubleshooting and raising confidence in decisions.
