The Cerabar PMC21 is a compact pressure transmitter with an abrasion‑resistant, oil‑free ceramic sensor. It measures absolute and gauge pressure and offers IP68 options plus broad industrial certifications for harsh conditions.
The Cerabar PMC21 is a versatile pressure transmitter for reliable absolute and gauge pressure measurement in gases and liquids. Its capacitive ceramic measuring cell made of high‑purity 99.9% Al₂O₃ provides excellent abrasion resistance, long‑term durability, and stable performance in demanding conditions. With a measuring range from +100 mbar (1.5 psi) to +40 bar (580 psi), 0.3% accuracy, and 0.2% URL/year long‑term stability, the PMC21 suits a wide variety of industrial applications. Its compact, rugged 316L stainless‑steel housing and optional IP68 submersible versions ensure suitability for harsh, flooded, or outdoor environments. The transmitter integrates easily via 4–20 mA or IO‑Link, and broad certifications, including ATEX, FM, CSA, IECEx, NEPSI, UKEx, and marine approvals like RINA and KR, enable global use. Optional EN10204‑3.1 material certificates and oxygen‑cleaned versions support traceability and safety.
